Goddess Bust at T.J. Max in Queens, NY

This lone goddess bust was spotted in with the magic mushrooms in T. J. Max off Utopia Parkway in Queens, NY. The impulse was to take her home and clean her up. She was only $12. But she was concrete and too heavy to carry. Hope someone gives her a good home. In a reverse image search it was discovered she is a replica of a statue of goddess Diana/Artemis!

Athena Spotted in Pine Bush, New York

This small Athena statue was discovered at a street fair related to the annual UFA conference in Pine Bush, New York. She was the only goddess to be found among the aliens and paranormal knick-knacks. She was sitting among the homemade goods offered by a jewelry vendor who said her son had crafted her for a 3-D Xerox. She was purchased for $30.

Hindu Goddesses Spotted in Beads of Paradise Window, 17th Street

Beads of Paradise Storefront at 16 East 17th Street. The window features Goddess Lakshmi and her consort Vishnu and other deities. It's impossible to walk by without going in. Inside the narrow, funky store are two rooms filled with beads of all kinds and accessories. Also, the place is packed with religious figures from different traditions, with lots of Mary and Christian statues. It is like a Temple of Kitsch. Music plays and the staff is all smiles and very helpful. Asked if all the deities are for sale, they said "some." Many seem like they have been there for a while, blessing the place.

Kuan Yin Spotted at the Tao Restaurant in Lower Manhattan

This giant statue of Guan Yin (Kuan Yin) is the sacred centerpiece of Tao Restaurant in lower Manhattan. She has 24 hands which the restaurant sayss are meant to illustrate her ability to help and assist people. She sits upon a koi pond at Tao Restaurant in the Main Dining Room. She lights up and comes alive through a light show and animation. Guan Yin joins The Buddha and is a a stapele of feature of of this chain restaurant.

Miss Manhattan and Miss Brooklyn Spotted at Manhattan Bridge Entrance

Miss Brooklyn and Miss Manhattan Entrance to Manhattan Bridge on Brooklyn Side. These rotating statues are the personification of two boroughs and are modeled after the 12-foot ladies who represented the attributes of each borough and were created by Daniel Chester French in 1909.

This 2014 photo is a closeup of Goddess of Speed hood ornament with radiator gage, on a 1928 Packard 443 limousine. It is modeled after the goddess Nike. This is owned by Mario Iasparo, is an entry at the Antique and Collectible Auto Show held on the historic grounds of elegant Old Westbury Gardens in Long Island and sponsored by Greater New York Region AACA Antique Automobile Club of America.
